Wendy Lawson's Consultancy Work with Us
We’re delighted that world-renowned Autism expert
Wendy Lawson
has been, and is continuing to work with us in a consultative role, within our homes as well as delivering specialist autism training to our managers and senior support staff. In September, she returns to work with us again, both as trainer to the management, in the homes and also to speak at our "Autism: A Day of Discovery" conference in Bridgwater, Somerset on 17 September 2007 (with Dinah Murray). The consultancy sessions have been extremely enlightening, and allowed us to further improve our service to, and understanding of, our service users. The philosophy of Homes Caring for Autism is to support every individual to live full, independent and rewarding lives. We believe in striving for excellence in all we do, so working with Wendy is very much in line with our core principles.
